Yay, it is my favourite time of the month, it’s Glossybox time!!
Since it’s the first book of the year, of course it is going to be a special edition. This month glossy box have collaborated with the one and only ‘Deliciously Stella’. Click the link and head over to her Instagram, she’s super funny.
Let’s what we got this month
Nip Fab- Kale fix moisturiser– This is a superfood salad for your face. It contains kale, watercress, almond oil, aloe vera and shea butter. It promises to help moisturise, protect, sooth and smooth your skin. It sounds like the perfect product for me. The moisturiser has a lovely consistency, but it is not too heavy on your skin. The smell is a little odd, but I do like it. It smells similar to them old school cucumber peeler masks my mum used to use. This retails for around £15, which is a bit pricey for a moisturiser, but if it is like the other NipFab products, it is worth it.
Unani- Illuminate Milk Cleanser– I’m not going to lie, I have never heard of this brand before. To be fair this is why I love my glossybox subscription so much, as it introduces me to lots of lovely new brands. This product is like a makeup remover/moisturiser/cleanser all in one. Sounds perfect for the lazy days. This retails for $18 or around £14. That seems pretty reasonable for such a big bottle. Let’s hope it does what it says.
The balm- Meet Matt(e) Trimony Eyeshadow– So we had a sneak peek of this in last month’s box. I do love the sneak peek feature, as it gets me even more excited for the future boxes. So this is one shade from the balms palette of 9. I received shade ‘matt kumar’ which is a deep burgundy colour. I have swatched it on the back of my hand and it seems really pigmented, but would blend really well. I am looking forward to creating some great looks with this in the next few weeks. Keep your eyes peeled for some tutorials. The palette costs about £38 which is rather expensive, so I expect this to be amazing!
True organic of Sweden- All you need is me– This is another ‘good for everything’ kinda product. It is completely chemical free, you can use it on your hair, body, face, lips etc. I have been using my aloe-vera gel for my breakouts but I will definitely try this too. Seems great, and retails for £20. That’s also reasonable price, and I’m impressed that we got the bigger 50ml product rather than the 15ml.
Lastly, another fantastic facemark by Vitamasques. If you have read my previous reviews, (if not just click on the above categories and then the Glossybox section) you will know that we have received vitamasques products before, and I LOVED them. It’s because of them that I love full face sheet masks, and I was in need of a new one this week. I can’t wait to try this one, full of Manuka honey goodness. Apparently it smells good enough to eat. This is priced £3.99 which is fantastic.
So as you can see, we received 4 full size products which is awesome! AAND a lovely little notebook too. Who doesn’t love them, especially this time of the year. I am so excited to try these out. I have recently been really good with my skincare routine and have been focusing on making sure that my skin is always cleansed and moisturised at night time therefore all of these will help me out. I think everyone starts the year with a new skincare routine, so this is the perfect box. Also after easing a lot of junk food over Christmas, I’ve had loads of breakouts so these will help me make my skin nice and perfect again.
What do you guys think of this months box?
